An eye test in our Oleśnica store is much more than reading letters from a chart. We use the DNEye Rodenstock scanner, and you have a choice of two visits:
• specialist consultation – PLN 0: a quick scan of your refractive error with the DNEye scanner and a chat about the result – you'll learn your values, whether it's worth changing your current glasses and whether you need them at all; no obligation to buy,
• professional DNEye eye test – PLN 300: additionally, eye pressure measurement (a screening test for glaucoma), corneal thickness, addition (reading power) and an assessment for cataracts.
If any measurement raises a concern – for example raised eye pressure or early changes in the lens – we tell you openly and refer you to an ophthalmologist with a full set of results. Both visits are done without a referral.

We'll suggest which frames flatter your features and which work better for a stronger prescription. We'll also choose suitable lenses – single vision, progressive, for computer work or with an anti-reflective coating.
Contact lenses and sunglasses
We fit contact lenses in Oleśnica with full instruction on inserting, removing and caring for them – also for people trying them for the first time. We'll also prepare sunglasses with a UV filter,

In the stores in Oława, ul. B. Chrobrego 20E/III (under the high-rise) and Oleśnica, ul. Daszyńskiego 5F we have our own laboratory with an edging workshop Essilor Neksia. We cut and fit lenses in the store, without sending them to an outside workshop.

The equipment we test your eyes and make your glasses with
We use the same equipment in all four stores — in Oława, Oleśnica and Jelcz-Laskowice.
Rodenstock DNEye scannerA tower for biometric measurement of the eye. At the free consultation we use it for a quick refractive measurement, and in the professional examination (PLN 300) also to measure eye pressure, corneal thickness and addition, and to assess for cataract. The measurement is analysed by the device's artificial intelligence, so we choose lenses for your eye, not for average values.
Progressive glasses simulatorOn screen we show how you will see in progressive glasses before you order them — split into distance, computer and reading.
Progressive glasses to try in the examination roomYou come in, put on progressive glasses in the examination room and see how you see in them — before buying, not after. No description or simulation can replace that.

What we don't do: we don't polish scratched lenses. Polishing removes the coatings and spoils the image – in that case it's more honest to replace the lens than to pretend to repair it. With glasses under the premium warranty we replace them with new ones, even when they are scratched.

- Video centration for every pair of glassesA camera measures the position of the lens relative to the eye — on the measuring towers Carl Zeiss i.Terminal (Chrobrego, Oleśnica, Jelcz-Laskowice) and in the system Rodenstock (Iwaszkiewicza). We do it for single vision, progressive, computer and sports glasses.
- Binocular vision — in every examinationWe check convergence (how the eyes turn inwards for near vision), phorias (latent squint) and accommodation (the eye's ability to focus up close). This matters for children, for close-up work and for headaches.
- Rodenstock DNEye Scanner 2+In every store: a quick refractive measurement at the free consultation (PLN 0), and in the professional examination (PLN 300) also eye pressure, corneal thickness, addition and assessment for cataract.
- Progressive glasses: 30 days to adapt + second pair freeIf you don't get used to progressive glasses within 30 days, we replace the lenses with others free of charge (e.g. two pairs of single vision, office, computer). After an examination at any of the four KOBAN stores, you get a folder with your result free of charge. Inside is a printout from the computerised vision measurement, with a description of what each value means.
